USA Network is moving forward with “Royal Pains,” giving a series pickup to the show starring Mark Feuerstein as an on-call doctor to the Hamptons elite.

The USA cable network will be returning to the East End as soon as next month to resume work on “Royal Pains,” a television series that the network has now picked up for a full season.

From one pop diva to another, actress and singer Lindsay Lohan has praised Britney Spears for this month releasing the comeback album “Circus.”
    
The 22-year-old Lohan said in a blog posted on Tuesday on social networking site MySpace that Spears is an “amazing talent, and she has gone through a lot (just as I have) in the public eye.”

“So YAY Britney for just being you and following through with your dreams,” Lindsay wrote.
    
Spears’ chart-topping album “Circus” was released on the singer’s 27th birthday on Dec. 2. Spears has gone through a rough couple years and was twice hospitalized for psychiatric evaluations at the beginning of 2008, but she seems to have gotten her life under control since then.
    
Lohan, the star of the 2004 movie “Mean Girls,” released the albums “Speak” and “A Little More Personal (Raw)” a few years ago.
    
The actress has been inseparable from gal pal Samantha Ronson, a 31-year-old celebrity DJ who was briefly hospitalized on Monday and later said she was suffering from exhaustion. In her blog post, Lohan said she would spend Christmas in Los Angeles with Ronson, instead of at home with her family.
